Facets of Becoming -2025

Analogue Photography

This series draws from the structure of a diamond — a material shaped through pressure, defined by precision, and revealed only through light. Each garment becomes a faceted surface, refracting the body into geometric planes that shift between solidity and illusion.

By treating clothing as crystalline architecture, the images explore how identity is fractured, multiplied, and recomposed through the act of being seen. Light cuts across the forms like a sculptor, exposing hidden angles, softening others, and suggesting the quiet tension between vulnerability and resilience.

In this interplay of reflection and opacity, the body becomes both the origin and the prism: a living diamond, continually transforming as it catches and releases light.
